Following on from my recent Podcast Episode - E099 - all about my Top of Funnel Marketing Tactics I am implementing towards growing my:
Email list
Social Media reach
Website traffic
Inside the larger strategy to grow my 'audience' and 'potential customers' towards converting them at my Black Friday Cyber Monday 2024 offer!
I shared in my podcast episode a specific example of a niche - the pet niche - and some ideas of how your could implement a Group Challenge of some description to grow your website traffic, social media reach, and email list - to have your best Black Friday sales ever too!
Here are some other niche or industry examples to inspire how this concept of a group challenge could work for your business too!
First though - here are the essential pieces to this sort of challenge being successful for your business:
Link it to a time of year: eg Spring! Leverage what is already happening in society/people's lives.
Daily Tasks: Each day should be short and sweet prompt, making participation easy but engaging.
Interactive Posts: Encourage participants to post photos, share their thoughts, inside a Facebook Group, with an IG hashtag, or by commenting on a daily blog post.
Buddy System: Just like my "happy mail" idea, pair up participants so everyone can feel like they contribute to the success of the challenge.
Gift at the end: like a downloadable resource, gift card to spend, small product samples. Not a competition - you want everyone who participates to get a thankyou. Keep in mind - the challenge and interactivity during the period IS the pay-off for your social media followers or customers. If the challenge is enjoyable and valuable for your audience the gift at the end will not be the reason why people enjoyed it or not!
Short Timeframe: The last two times I have run a challenge, participants commented on the 5 day window was very achievable.
